[ Hair ] Open Question : What can my cousin do about her facial hair?
She has been dealing with facial hair problems for about 2 years now i think. At first, from what i noticed and from what she told me, she had only some upper lip hair that she bleached and later waxed.Months later, she started growing hair on her chin and on the lower sides of her cheeks.Because of this, she needs to constantly wax her face area. And her hair isn't bristly/spiky at all, it's soft, just that it's quite dense and a few of them are darker. And she also told me her leg hair is usually dense and dark before she shaves it.And she feels sort of stupid because of her problem and i think it's getting her down. Can i help her somehow? My guess is that maybe she has a hormone imbalance. But her mom says it's pointless to take her to a doctor, since she doesn't want her to get a hormone treatment, due to possible/likely side effects. And laser hair removal it's too early for her, she's just 16.But waxing quite often, like she does, won't damage the skin eventually or is it a pretty safe method?Should she go see a doctor anyways? Is there a chance that once she reaches adulthood, her problems will fade away by itself, naturally and she'll stop growing facial hair and dark body hair? Please help, i really wanna do something for her current situation.
