[ Teaching ] Open Question : Am I capable of becoming a science teacher?
I've always wanted to be teacher from a young age but couldn't decide what subject to teach. I don't want to teach primary, only secondary. I originally wanted to teach Art because I got an A and it used to interest me but I've lost interest. I've also realised that math/science teachers are in high demand at the moment. It would therefore give me a better chance of getting a job as a math or science teacher as opposed to art. I'm taking science as an A-Level and have just started to become interested in the subject. I used to hate it in my lower school years but i think that was because i didnt understand it well. Since passing GCSE science I've started enjoying science a lot more as I know a lot more. Therefore I'm wondering if I would be capable of teaching it as I've only just found an interest in it? I'm getting an A at the moment so hopefully I will get an A in A-Level science at the end of year 13. Surely if I pass a science degree and continue doing a teacher training course I would be ok? :/
