It’s been 20 years since Dallas went off the air, but America hasn’t seen the last of JR Ewing and the gang at Southfork Ranch. An updated Dallas premieres tonight on TNT, a drama many critics believe will appeal to old fans and new viewers alike.
“Whether you were a fan of the original series, or still in utero when it went off the air in 1991, TNT's Dallas will wear you down and pull you in with its mix of sex, intrigue, backstabbing, dirty dealing, blackmail, and family secrets,” raves a critic from the San Francisco Gate. The new Dallas brings back several original cast members, while also adding a host of hotties to appeal to younger viewers. Larry Hagman once again plays ruthless oil baron JR Ewing, while Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray reprise the roles as Bobby Ewing and Sue Ellen. The new eye candy includes Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalf, Jordana Brewster, and Julie Gonzalo. If you’re not familiar with the Dallas storyline or characters, TVGuide.com has a great rundown here. Tune into TNT at 9/8 central to watch the series' two-hour premiere.
In the meantime, check out StarCam's interview with Josh Henderson, the actor who plays John Ross Ewing III, the son of the villainous JR!

When Bethenny Frankel said her new talk show would be personal, she wasn't kidding.
In addition to talking about porn and vibrators, the reality star openly talked about her miscarriage and how she felt guilty about the loss causing her to get a little choked up in an upcoming episode of her talk show, "Bethenny".
"You blame yourself as a woman. And I accidentally found out from my doctor that it would've been a girl ?" Frankel explained, "So for me it was thinking about Bryn [her daughter] running around with another girl".
The 41-year-old founder of Skinnygirl Cocktails talked about how her age impacted the miscarriage in the July issue of Glamour saying it was already a "high risk" pregnancy.
"It can be different for everybody. For me, it's that I?m older. I?m 41. That was ringing in my head and that it's high risk," she explains. "But, I'm lucky to have my first child. For some people, they're trying to have their first child, so they're going through that. And then, am I going to adopt? Am I damaged? What's my husband going to think of me?"
The traumatic experience left Bethenny feeling bad about herself
Bethenny admitted the traumatic experience left her feeling bad about herself, " ... People who have one [child], feel guilty talking about being upset about [it] even if it's you have two kids and you wanted to have a third. You feel guilty that there are other people that can't even have one. Everyone is going through their own experiences. For some people, in their mind, their perfect life is to have three kids and if they can't make that happen, or if they want to have a boy for their husband ?
"It's a loss," Dr. Raj interrupts. " ... and you have to mourn it like any other loss."
Bethenny airs weekdays on Fox at 11 a.m.
