Katie Leclerc chats with StarCam's Jennifer Tapiero at A Time for Heroes Celebrity Picnic about her character on ABC Family's Switched At Birth who is deaf and why she's so proud of the show.

"I have something called Meniere's disease," she explains. "It's a problem with fluid retention in the inner ear and so I have fluctuating hearing loss in addition to a few other symptoms so it's something that's very personal to me and a role of a lifetime."

Noah Crawford on Jamming Out Between Takes of "How to Rock"

Noah Crawford, from Nickelodeon's How to Rock, hints that he's working on a few secret projects for the network. While he can't say too much, he does tell StarCam's Jennifer Tapiero at A Time for Heroes Celebrity Picnic about jamming out on the set of his show.

"Between takes we'll turn on the piano, Chris will bust out on the drums, Max's got his guitar, and we'll start playing and stuff," he says. "We get on the director's nerves sometimes."

Warner Bros. Announces Comic-Con Lineup

Warner Bros. Television Group today announced which of its shows will appear at next month’s San Diego Comic-Con. The lineup includes new series, as well as a few fan favorites.

Carrie Underwood & Co. Slug It Out for City of Hope

Lacing up her sneakers and getting in the swing of things for a good cause, Carrie Underwood was back in action for the 22nd annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge in Nashville, TN on Saturday (June 9).

The country superstar rocked a sporty ensemble as she made her way on the field in red tube socks, black athletic shorts and black top, while at one point tossing on a personalized jersey as she did her part in striking out cancer.

Aside from Carrie, some of country music?s biggest stars were on hand during the annual event held during the CMA Festival, including Lauren Alaina, Scotty McCreery, Vince Gill and Brantley Gilbert.

According to the organization?s website, since the event?s inception, the Celebrity Softball Challenge has raised nearly $2 million dollars benefiting City of Hope?s life-saving mission ? finding cures and better treatments for cancer and a host of other devastating diseases.
