Actor Jerry Mathers, best known as Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver, still has fans calling him "The Beav" after all these years. Yet, he never gets tired of hearing it.
"As an actor, you never get sick of your fans 'cause without them, you're nothing, so I always love it," Jerry says.
StarCam caught up with him at the Classic Film Festival Cabaret Premiere and he talks about how Leave It to Beaver is still watched today all over the world.
"It shows in 47 languages, in about 126 countries," he says. "It's the longest running show in television history; it's never been off the air since 1957."
He was enjoying the festival and looking forward to watching Cabaret again.
"I saw it actually in the movie theater when it first came out," Jerry says. "I think it's a very interesting show because it shows the decadence of Germany right before the war? people know about Hitler but they don't realize how decadent Europe was at the time."

Zac Efron stepped out in a sophisticated George Clinton suit for the Berlin premiere of The Lucky One yesterday. He was joined by his costar Taylor Schilling, who walked the red carpet alongside him in a black Alaia dress. Zac also sported a bandage on his left hand. Zac injured his hand, and joked earlier this week that the wound was a result of being bitten by an overzealous fan.
Zac and Taylor are already enjoying success with The Lucky One, which opened in the number two spot over the weekend, and have been making appearances at the film's many European premieres. Zac will soon wrap up this round of press duties, but he'll be back at it again later this year when his next movie The Paperboy hits theaters.
Actor and comedian Tommy Davidson, best known for his impersonations of Sammy Davis, Jr. and Sugar Ray Leonard on In Living Color, tells StarCam at the TV Land Awards that it's time for another similar type of show.
"I think it's time for a return to television for an In Living Color-esque type of show, where people get on there, kick ass, do exactly what the people want, and don't nobody ask no questions," he says.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Keenan Ivory Wayans is producing a rebooted version of the series for FOX.

Tony Roberts has been in several films, theater productions, and television shows, so when StarCam got to chat with him at the Cabaret premiere of the Classic Film Festival, we asked what he thinks makes them so good.
"I have to go to something very basic and say that the story is always what makes a film good, it makes anything good, the story," he says. "Cabaret has a great story on so many levels. You follow somebody as an individual, you follow a culture, you're following history; it tackles a huge amount of reality."
Tony also shares the history of his own entertainment career.
"I started making movies when I was about 30 years old and I already had a good career in the theater, and I had a nice thing going on television for a while," he explains. "But I lucked out to be in some very good movies, Serpico, and six pictures for Woody [Allen], some pictures I'd rather forget, and a couple other pictures but everybody has that in their portfolio."
So what has he been working on lately?
"I'm coming out in a picture called The Longest Week with Jason Bateman and Olivia Wilde and Billy Crudup, directed by a newcomer by the name of Peter Glanz," he says. "And I think it's one of the wittiest, brightest, funniest screenplays I've ever read so I have high hopes for it."
