Sherri Shepherd will certainly be busy the next few weeks! In addition to co-hosting The View, the comedienne will be competing on Dancing with the Stars (premiering March 19), a gig that will require hours of grueling dance practice and late night, cross-country flights.
“As soon as the results show is over, we have to hop on a red eye and go tape three shows of The View and then come back immediately and start rehearsing," Shepherd told The Hollywood Reporter. "It's going to be difficult, but I work for a woman named Barbara Walters and she has taught me well about how to handle more than one thing."Shepherd will be dancing with Val Chmerkovskiy, the younger brother of long-time DWTS pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy. It’s Val’s second season on the popular dance show.
"We'll put in the time," Chmerkovskiy said of Sherri’s packed schedule. "She has all the essentials to be successful in whatever style we do."
In addition to co-hosting The View, Shepherd, 44, also hosts the Newlywed Game and plays Tracy Jordan’s wife, Angie, on NBC’s 30 Rock. Sherri has also starred or appeared in Beauty Shop, Precious (a role that earned her much critical acclaim), and Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son. Fans can catch Shepherd in the upcoming flick One for the Money. She plays Lula.

Jonathan Lipnicki came out to the BWD Gifting Lounge to Benefit Unlikely Heroes and filled StarCam's Jennifer Tapiero in on why he'd be taking it easy this Oscar season, whether or not it's a goal of his to win one and who his celebrity man crush is!
When Jen asked Jonathan if he had big plans for this crazy time of the year in Hollywood, he had an answer pretty different than most celebrities. He wasn't going to hit up the parties and chaos. He had something else in mind.
"Actually, I have some auditions later in the week for pilot season and I think mostly I'm going to be staying in and focusing on that because?that's what I do," said Jonathan. He did say he was rooting for Nick Nolte for his role in Warrior , which was his favorite movie of the year. This makes perfect sense after finding out that his celebrity man crush is Tom Hardy's traps! Leave it to Jonathan to have a crush on a celebrity's shoulder muscles! As far as winning an Oscar himself one day, he hasn't set that as a goal.
"I don't think I'd really put it as my dream," he said. "It's an amazing thing of course and I would be so blessed if I won one, but it?s something that's way out of your control?I'm just?trying to do the best work I can do."
