Ed Lauter Dishes on ?The Artist,? Working With Alfred Hitchcock and How He Wants to be Remembered
Who knew that just focusing on the fundamentals could take a good movie and make it something great? Legendary actor Ed Lauter stopped by to chat with StarCam's Jennifer Tapiero at the Movie Guide Awards about what it was like being a part of The Artist, which he highly recommends as a date-night movie!
Lauter also had the honor of working with Alfred Hitchcock on his last film and said how amazing it was to be involved in something so successful at this point in his career. It?s important to Lautner that he is remembered as not only a great actor, but a good story teller. He acknowledged that life can be tough at times, so the ability to trigger something emotional in someone is powerful.
Because of the passion and drive that he has for his career, he felt compelled to offer some advice to everyone in the world who is trying to follow their dreams. "I've loved doing what I did all my life. I picked out what I wanted to do and I stuck with it," he said. "Whether it's acting, business or whatever job you pick out, make sure you love it because it'll pay off for you."
