In March, a series of stolen images from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 hit the web and needless to say, the folks at Summit Entertainment were not happy. After a lengthy investigation, the studio yesterday announced that it has identified some of the people responsible for the leak and that it plans to take legal action.
"Those who steal images, video, and other intellectual property will be identified and prosecuted globally,” Summit Entertainment wrote in a press release.
Summit Entertainment's investigation spanned four continents and the law firm of Keats McFarland & Wilson LLP is still working on finding the other people responsible for the leak. So far the firm has identified Daiana Santia and others in Argentina as being involved in stealing “photographs, unfinished images, and video.”
Twilight director Bill Condon called the leak a “deeply upsetting," experience while the producers were “extremely heartbroken." Actor Robert Pattinson also expressed strong emotion about the stolen images.
"It's just ridiculous. I literally can't believe that it happened," Pattinson told MTV News. "I want the Twilight troops to mobilize, all the good fans, and find out who these little sh--s are and just hack into their computers and destroy them. ... I'm being genuinely serious, Twilight fans."
The images in question showed Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward’s (Robert Pattinson) honeymoon scene as well as pictures of Bella as she transforms into a vampire.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 hits theatres November 18, while Part 2 is set for a November 16, 2012 release.

A week after her death, speculation has been swirling regarding whether Amy Winehouse had another album on deck for release. Now, news suggests that there will in fact be a new album released posthumously. Her forthcoming record that she had been working on as of late is said to focus on her tumultuous and drug-addled relationship and subsequent divorce with Blake Fielder-Civil.
Fielder-Civil, 33, is currently in prison, and had been married to Winehouse for two years when they split in 2009. A spokesperson for Winehouse’s family said, “Amy always had a notebook on her and would write down lyrics and ideas. People who have heard the new songs say they are very, very good and that they are as autobiographical as ever. The period after 2006 was when Amy went through the most emotional upheaval, with Blake going to prison and then their divorce.”
Fielder-Civil is said to be inconsolable over Winehouse’s death, yet reports suggest that he was the one who got her hooked on drugs in the first place.
A source says that most of the tracks are just demos, and that the songs where Amy had laid down a backing track would be completed using Amy’s vocals or contributions from friends.
The release is slated for next year, and the proceeds for the album will go to a charity that Winehouse’s father Mitch has set up – one that will help people struggling with addiction.

Bringing her beauty to the red carpet, Lea Michele was on-hand for the "Glee: The 3D Concert Movie" premiere in Los Angeles on Saturday evening (August 6).
The Rachel Berry actress took to the Regency's Village Theatre venue while joining alongside her many co-stars for the much-awaited film's debut.
And while she's certainly excited about the big screen effort, Miss Michele did voice a bit of concern, as she told press, "My nose is gonna be insane. People are gonna put on those glasses, and I feel bad for them!"
Directed by Kevin Tancharoen, the TV show based movie is "a concert documentary shot during the Glee Live! In Concert! summer 2011 tour."

At a recent MTV cocktail party, Jackass director Jeff Tremaine revealed details about a tribute for Ryan Dunn that the crew is working on. Dunn, who passed away in June, was a part of the Jackass team, stopping at nearly nothing if he knew it’d get a laugh. Now, Tremaine said that the tragedy of his death has inspired a new collection of “Jackass hilarity.”
“We’re gearing up to do a tribute to Ryan,” Tremaine said. “That’s our next project. It hurt pretty bad. It’s hurt everybody but we want to celebrate his life and show everybody. We have just such an amazing bank of footage of him. We’re going to dig it all up so we’ll discover it too.”
The tribute will apparently include never-before-seen outtakes from the Jackass movies and TV show, including one that Tremaine remembers fondly: “There’s always been the Van Surfing, him and Chris re-enacting a scene from Teen Wolf that didn’t go well. We’ll see if they’ll let us air it but it’s pretty funny. Ryan was riding on the roof of the van and the van was speeding towards a body of water, stopped a little bit short. He made it to the water but the water was only like five inches deep, slammed pretty bad.” Ouch!
As for why it never hit the air in the first place, it turns out the guys from Jackass (gasp!) self-censored the scene, fearing that kids might try to recreate it. “We decided not to air that because we thought that kids might imitate it too easily,” Tremaine said.
The Jackass crew will shoot new interviews for the special as well – which Tremaine hopes will air this fall.

This Academy Award winning actor. See, I actually said they won. No guessing if they won. Anyway, this Academy award winning actor who is not exactly a big pile of fun got punched in the face recently. Yep. See, it turns out that this actor made a movie with this foreign born B list actress and because our Academy actor is an a-hole, he hit on her even though she is in a serious relationship. Well, she never told her B+/A- list actor significant other about the incident until recently. What used to be a friendship between the two actors is no more, and our Academy Award actor took a beating. Glad someone did. (CDAN)
Sean Penn, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber? But Sean Penn's mug always looks like somebody or something just used it as a trampoline so I'm sure nobody noticed.
Which Glee actress who does not think she has a coke problem is out of control with her coke problem. It will be interesting to see if she can make it through the season without rehab. (CDAN)
If it's not Lea Michele then I really can't with that bitch. When you've got a nose like hers, it's your duty to use the hell out of it including snorting lines wider than your average coke mirror. And when Lea sings, she sort of looks like she's got the coke grinds.
Which C-list actor ? who insists he?s sober ? was recently tossed out of a Hollywood sex shop for throwing latex sex toys at customers and harassing female employees?
The boutique booted the once-promising star, but that didn?t faze him. He was furious because he left the story empty handed. (National Enquirer via Blind Gossip)
This is classic Andy Dick fuckery, so I'll guess him.
