As the theme of this year's bash, Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, was in honor of the deceased designer, it isn't surprising that most of the looks were inspired by his Scottish heritage.
Ravishing reds, fabulous feathers and sensational sparkles were all over the red carpet, as the glam-factor was at an all-time high.

Mike Tyson’s tattoo artist, the man who gave the famous boxer his distinctive facial tattoo, is suing Warno Bros. over the similar-looking skin art on Ed Helms’ character in the upcoming film, The Hangover Part 2.
S. Victor Whitmill is an award-winning tattoo artist who says that Tyson’s tattoo is “one of the most distinctive tattoos in the nation,” and is asking for an injunction to stop the release of the highly anticipated comedy film, which is set to open over Memorial Day weekend.
Apparently Whitmill owns the artwork done on Tyson’s face, and thus the copyright for the “Original Tattoo.” The complains says, “Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc. – without attempting to contact Mr. Whitmill, obtain his permission, or credit his creation – has copied Mr. Whitmill’s Original Tattoo and placed it on the face of another actor. This unauthorized exploitation of the Original Tattoo constitutes copyright infringement.”
Though Warner Bros. declined to comment on the suit, it seems as though Whitmill may have a case – the designs do look very similar, and the tattoo on Helms’ character appears to be a direct comedic reference to Tyson, who appeared extensively in the first film. Further, copyrighted works are copyrighted works, regardless of where they are – be it a painting on a wall or a tattoo on someone’s face. In the suit, Whitmill attached his copyright registration for the “Original Tattoo,” along with Tyson’s signed release granting rights to the work.
Speculation says that Warner Bros. may argue either that the design was changed just enough to dodge copyright issues, or that it’s a parody.
Whitmill is also challenging the use of the image in ad materials and trailers.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon spent time in a Los Angeles hospital this weekend, where Carey delivered two babies on Saturday -- the same day as the couple’s fourth wedding anniversary. Carey gave birth shortly after noon, according to reports.
Carey’s rep confirmed the news, stating that the singer gave birth to a baby girl weighing 5 lbs., 3 oz., and a baby boy weighing 5 lbs., 6 oz.
A spokeswoman also said that Carey’s single “We Belong Together” was the music playing after the twins arrived.
Nick Cannon guest hosted The Talk last week, and told viewers that he felt like the babies would be born soon. “I’m not trying to be a psychic, but we renew our vows every year, so … It’s probably going to be in the hospital this year,” he said. “I can feel it.”
After the birth, Cannon tweeted the news, expressing his joy. “My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life. I won’t ever be able to top this!” he wrote.
The names of the newborn twins have not yet been released. Carey had been highly anticipating the birth of her twins, obviously, and had shown off pictures on her twitter page of her painted pregnant baby bump.
Congratulations to the couple!

Vin Diesel had a great weekend, I’m sure of it. His new flick, Fast Five, came in first at the box office. It earned $83.6 million over its first few days out. I’m wondering if this is the final installment of the Fast franchise, but one can never be too sure when it comes to sequels.
In second place was Rio, which earned $14.4 million, slipping out of its spot at the top. Third place goes to Tyler Perrys Madea’s Big Happy Family, which pulled in just over $10 million.
Fourth place went to Water for Elephants, which stars Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson. It earned $9.1 million. Disney’s Prom earned a spot at 5th place, earning $5 million.
Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil landed at 6th place with $4.1 million in weekend ticket sales, followed by Soul Surfer, which pulled in $3.3 million. Insidious took 8th place with $2.6 million in sales, and rounding out the top ten were HOP in 9th place and Source Code in tenth place.
