[ Singles & Dating ] Open Question : Missing so many opportunities to talk to him...?

So there's this guy. About a month or so ago, we talked on facebook about a movie and then homework another time. He goes to my school, but we've never talked in person. Since then, he's liked some of my fb statuses, but nothing more. We used to have classes together, but now we don't. I hated my class change for awhile because I wasn't able to even be around him anymore. But the weird thing is that now, unlike before, I see him everywhere in the halls. I always try to catch his eye but he never looks. I don't have the guts to say hi first, as much as I want to. I don't know what's running through his mind. I'd like to think that he's somewhat interested in me too, but I don't know for sure. The worst part about this whole thing is missing perfect opportunities to talk to him. Like today, I missed 2 good ones. I always beat myself up about it after and remind myself to not let it happen again, but it always does. I don't really know what I'm asking. I'm just so disappointed. Maybe because I want him to make the first move? I don't know. But I wonder if maybe because I don't acknowledge him, he thinks I don't want to be acknowledged and decides to leave me alone. What would you think if someone you talked to online ignored you in person after? If you were interested would you make a move? Or take their silence as a sign to not do anything? Thank you so much for reading and responding. :)
