"Boy Meets World" Star Danielle Fishel Gets Engaged, Graduates College

It's been a big few weeks for Danielle Fishel. First, Disney Channel announced it would air a spinoff series of Boy Meets World called Girl Meets World, in which Fishel would star alongside Boy co-star Ben Savage, and now, she's announced she's graduated from college and gotten engaged.

The TV star revealed on her Tumblr yesterday that she is "officially a college graduate," writing, "I took my last two undergrad finals today and I am so happy, relieved, and proud." Fishel went back to school four years ago when she was 27, after worrying she'd be the "old lady in class."

"I persevered and sometimes I wasn't the oldest person in class, some of the whisperers became good friends, and I did so well in math, I even became a tutor," she said, which is where she met her husband—another happy announcement.

Fishel announced she's marrying Tim Belusko, but has been tweeting about it since earlier this year, and although she's excited for the wedding, we can only imagine what it'll be like, as she tweeted that if she had her way, "My wedding reception might just be 3-4 hours of Usher's music."

Other than graduating and planning a wedding, Fishel is working on the spinoff, which will focus on her and Savage's character's 13-year-old daughter, Riley.
She tweeted on December 4th that the two were working on casting sessions to find the actress that would play Riley.
