Cee Lo Green to Pen ?Crazy? Memoir

Singer Cee Lo Green is writing a memoir, and The Voice judge promises fans a look at his “supernatural, surreal, extraordinary” existence.

"FORGET YOU? After reading my book, there will be no doubt that I am meant to be,” Green said in a statement. “You will enter into the supernatural, the surreal, and extraordinary. As Cee Lo Green, a.k.a. 'everybody's brother,' I will make you a believer. I talk about art imitating life; YOU discover CRAZY."

Intrigued? The as-yet-untitled memoir will be published by Grand Central Books sometime in 2013. Rolling Stone’s David Wild will co-author the book, while Green’s singing partner, Big Gipp, will offer “insights” about the eccentric musician.

Beth de Guzman, Vice-President and Editor-in-Chief of Paperbacks at Grand Central Publishing, also promises a unique, if not outrageous, Cee Lo Green memoir.

"He dresses in sequined capes, performs with the Muppets and Madonna, and does 360° flips with a grand piano at his fingertips,” Guzman said of Cee Lo. “Imagine all that outrageously unique and creative talent channeled into a book.”

The Atlanta-born rapper, who is currently in his second season of judging The Voice, is a five-time Grammy award winner known for such hits as “Crazy,” “Cry Baby,” “F*** You!,” and “It’s OK,” among others.
