Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy Receive Rare Double Star

Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman and husband William H. Macy received a double star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday afternoon. Huffman and Macy, who have been married for nearly 15 years, are only the second married couple to be honored jointly at a Walk of Fame ceremony.
"The first time I saw Felicity she was doing a scene for acting class wearing a silk, cream-colored blouse with no bra,” Macy said during his acceptance speech. “I thought, 'Man, this girl is talented'."
The couple, who have appeared together in many movies and television shows, wed in 1997.
In addition to Desperate Housewives, Felicity Huffman, 49, has starred in the television series Sports Night and the films Transamerica, Reversal of Fortune, Magnolia, Path to War, and Phoebe in Wonderland, among others.
William H. Macy, 61, rose to fame after playing Jerry Lundegaard in 1996’s Fargo. The Emmy and SAG Award-winning actor, who currently plays Frank Gallagher on the Showtime series Shameless, has also starred or appeared in Air Force One, Boogie Nights, Magnolia, Seabiscuit, and The Wool Cap, to name a few.
Huffman’s Desperate Housewives co-stars Marcia Cross and Vanessa Williams attended the unveiling ceremony to show their support, as did the Huffman and Macy’s two daughters, Sophie, 11, and Georgia, nine.
Congratulations, William and Felicity, on your Hollywood stars!
