Josh Henderson on His Character John Ross Ewing in the New "Dallas"
Josh Henderson, who plays J.R.'s son John Ross Ewing in the new Dallas, stops to chat with StarCam at the Classic Film Festival Cabaret Premiere about his character and his heterochromia condition.
"He definitely learned a thing to two about business and about pushing around weight like J.R. did, and so that's kinda all he knows," Josh says about John Ross Ewing. "And he believes it's the right way to do business so you're gonna see a lot of that nasty, J.R. Ewing type of business style through John Ross which is the most fun to play ever."
He was enjoying the festival because rather than cartoons, he did watch a lot of classic films growing up.
Another topic that interviewers often ask him about is his different colored eyes, one blue, and one green. The condition is called heterochromia.
"I call it a genetic defect," he explains. "I'm almost blind in my left eye? growing up I played baseball, so pitchers always thought I was winking at them because I couldn't see, I was squinting."
