Rex Lee Talks About Being Emo in College & Shifting From ?Entourage? to His Role on ?Suburgatory?

Rex Lee was amped up to be at the College Television Awards. He chatted with StarCam?s Jennifer Tapiero about the shift in his acting career when Entourage ended and he joined the cast of Suburgatory. He also shared some insight as to what he was like in college. You would never guess that this guy was ever the way he claims he was!

?Life is amazing. I think there was probably a moment when Entourage was coming to an end that I worried for the future, so jumping from one show to the next has really been an amazing thing to happen. I?m really happy about it,? he explained. ??More challenging is this one, Suburgatory, because not that it?s not realistic but that realism is heightened. Therefore, a lot of other cast members have had this problem as well. Sometimes we feel like we?re overacting. Sometimes we feel like we?re too big, but that?s kind of what the material calls for sometimes. You just have to be trustful that people are watching your back and go for it.?

Keeping with the theme of the evening, Jen asked Rex what he was like in college. This came as a bit of a surprise, but he claims that he was a total emo kid! He said, ?I was very sensitive and insecure. They didn?t have that word emo back then but I was very emo back then. When I was in college I literally said to people, to all of my friends, that I would probably die before the age of 30 because I was just going to have a tragic, sad life.? Rex, we are certainly glad you turned that frown upside down!
