Samuel L. Jackson, Hillary Duff Among Celebrities Helping 9/11 Charity

With the 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks a little over a week away, many celebrities and are joining the non-profit organization MyGoodDeed to make the upcoming anniversary the largest day of charitable service in U.S. history.
"Many prominent individuals understand that their actions can influence the actions of others,” said David Paine, president and co-founder of MyGoodDeed. “But at the same time, celebrities are like the rest of us. They and we all were profoundly touched by the tragedy of 9/11 nearly a decade ago. And like us they need and wish to demonstrate that they haven't forgotten, and will remember by taking positive action.”
MyGoodDeed recently launched the “I Will (pay tribute,”) campaign to encourage others to do good deeds in memory of those who lost their lives on 9/11. Samuel L. Jackson, Mariska Hargitay, Hillary Duff, and Jordin Sparks are among the celebrities involved with the campaign. Check out the video below.
Paine hopes the campaign will help inspire millions of people around the world to pay tribute to the victims of 9/11 by making a donation or volunteering their time.Want to know how you can help? Visit 911day.org to post a tribute, search for volunteer opportunities, or support a good cause.
