Swag for the Stars at Golden Globe Gifting Suites
The awards ceremony isn’t the only thing going on at the annual Golden Globes celebration. Before the stars recognize one another’s achievements, they hit the gifting suites, where they get a first-chance look at fabulous clothes, cosmetics and jewelry, all while benefiting a few good causes.
On the 11th, the stars and vendors turned out to show their support for To Write Love on Her Arms at Secret Room’s Golden Globe’s Style Lounge. There were some really fab vendors showing off their goods!
France Luxe was there with stylish accessories for your hair. Eternna Bella brought their best skin-rejuvenating cosmetics. Canadian company SkinFix was showing off their all-natural line of skincare products based on recipes that have been passed down through their family; they even have nourishing skin treatments for the family dog!
Mamalicious was there with a yummy nutritional supplement for mamas who are expecting or breastfeeding, pre-pregnant and post-partum ladies, those near or in menopause or anyone else who could use a nutritional kick. Founder Aimee Rickabus started the company by whipping up her nourishing formulas in her kitchen.
Lita Sea Glass Jewelry had a spread of one-of-a-kind pieces made with natural sea glass that has been smoothed and tumbled by sand and time. Truly gorgeous, and just as Mother Nature made them.
Nue, a line of dresses from designer Shani, help slim and shape ladies so they look their best at all kinds of events. And, it’s never too early to look great with the fabulicious Born 4 Couture kids line. Shany cosmetics’ highly pigmented make-up is great for dramatic looks with vibrant colors, all at very affordable prices.
The stars showed just as bright. We saw Jonathan Lipnicki. Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi from Shahs of Sunset stopped to chat; she said she’d wants to come on StarCam Radio soon to set the record straight about the GG/Asa fight. According to GG, she did not hit Asa first! GG’s sister Leila was at the event, as well; she just had a baby, and she looked fabulous! Ashley Fink and Lauren Potter from Glee stopped by; hopefully we’ll have Lauren on a future show, as well.
To Write Love on Her Arms is an Orlando-based non-profit movement that started with an effort to get a friend the addiction treatment and care that she needed. When she was turned away from a drug treatment center, friends came together to print t-shirts and raise funds to get her help. Realizing that issues of depression, addiction, self-harm and suicide are wide-spread, the founders of To Write Love on Her Arms set out to give hope and get care for those who need it. The organization raises funds for mental health care, increases awareness, and provides treatment scholarships to those in need.
