Train Travels to New Orleans for VH1's Best Super Bowl Concert Ever
There are a lot of concerts happening in New Orleans this weekend to celebrate the big game going down on Sunday but only one is worthy of the title "Best Ever."
Tune in to VH1 tonight at 9pm ET as Train and other surprise musical guests take the stage for VH1's Best Super Bowl Concert Ever.
Hosted by LIVE with Kelly & Michael co-host Michael Strahan and Big Morning Buzz Live host Carrie Keagan, the special concert event will be broadcast live from the Sugar Mill in New Orleans' famed Warehouse District.
"We do have a few surprises, some New Orleans twists to the show," said guitarist Jimmy Stafford of Train. Lead singer Pat Monahan joked that it will be better than Woodstock!
"We have some friends that are coming to the show," Pat explained. "I'm way better at spontaneity than having any kind of plans... we're hoping that we can finagle getting some of these guys up on stage with us and if we can do that, it will be a lot of fun."
Since the guys are from San Francisco, they have an easy choice on which team to root for.
"The city of San Francisco has had a good year already with the Giants winning the World Series so it'd be great if the 49ers could bring home the Super Bowl trophy too," Jimmy said.
VH1's Best Super Bowl Concert Ever will also include packages inspired by the return of VH1’s fan favorite series Best Week Ever, which will premiere a new episode immediately following the concert at 10pm ET.
