?Transformers: the Ride ? 3D? Coming to Universal Orlando
Five months ago, "Transformers: the Ride — 3D" debuted at Universal Studios Hollywood, and now the folks in Florida will have the chance to experience an intergalactic battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons. Yesterday, Universal Orlando announced that "Transformers: The Ride" is coming to the park this summer.
"Bringing 'Transformers: the Ride — 3D' to life at Universal Orlando involved a seamless collaboration between the films' award-winning director, Michael Bay, talented animators at Industrial Light and Magic, stars from the original films, and our extraordinary team of ride innovators at Universal," said Mark Woodbury, head of Universal Creative.As reported before, the ride puts guests into a 12-person vehicle designed to resemble a new Transformer named Evac. The rookie bot takes riders on a heart-stopping race through the streets of Chicago in a quest to find a valuable Transformers artifact. Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron all make an appearance during the four-minute attraction which features 14 floor-to-ceiling screens and 2,000 feet of track.Has anyone been on the Transformers ride at Universal Hollywood?
